My name is Phyllis Sumers. I am 55 and have been shaving my head since
1975. I started in June of that year (1975) because of a bet. I was having
lunch with some co-worked at the local shopping mall. We had just finished
eating and was spending a little time talking before returning back to work,
when a lovely young lady, in her early thirties, sat at the next table. What
caught our eyes was the fact her head shaved, freshly shaved at that.
    Anyway, the two men started commenting lowly about her shaved head, which
lead to a bet by them. Being a lady of adventure I took them upon the bet.
I went over to her and we talked. She is married for ten years, have a great
husband, and five wonderful children, who's picture she showed me. She said
she got tied of her waist long hair and not being able to do anything with it
in the summer weather.
    So, that morning she told her husband she was going to cut all her hair
off, meaning a short hair cut. He jokingly told her "Doing it with a bald
lady sounds like fun". When she went to her hairstylist, before going to
work, she told her what he said. After a little chatting, while she cut her
hair, she asked her hairstylist if she could really shave her head and was
told "sure".
    Before we returned to work, for lunch, we made a stop at the same hair
salon and I asked for her hairstylist. I told her of meeting her friend and
wanted to get my head shaved, also. Needless to say when we returned to work
my other co-workers could not believe I had done it.
    After a few days of shaving my head myself, I planned to keep it shaved
for a few days to make everyone wonder, I decided "what the hell", and have
been shaving my head since.

When I was young, I loved to go to the hairdressers to have my hair cut. I always got this strange feeling, specially when he shaved my nape with the razor. Although I've always preferred short hair (even though my mother insisted that I let my hair grow), I've never had it shaven with the clippers or a straight razor. It just never occurred to me that I would love it, until I met this guy, who's now my partner for almost 2 years.

At first I thought he was one of those guys who preferred their women with long hair, but little did I know..... One day he told me that he was fond of women with short hair, and although I felt that he was hiding something from me, he never got to tell me the truth.... So I found out the hard way. After some searching of my own, I found out that he didn't only love women with short hair, it was much more than that! I found out that he had this "hair-fetish", that he was sexually attracted to women with a shaven or bald head. I found out because I looked it all up in his computer. So, at first I was furious and sad about it. Not because he had this fetish, but because he refused to talk to me about it, although I gave him many chances. I broke up with him, but he always returned back to me, and we talked and talked for hours.

And gradually his fetish woke my interest and stirred my feelings. "His" fetish became "our" fetish. Bit by bit I started shaving my hair. It became shorter and shorter till at last there was not one single hair left on my cute head. At first I got really ugly and nasty remarks from people, and wherever I went people looked at me with their mouths open as if they saw some creature from out of space, but with the support of my partner I made it through the hard times and guess what: now it's the other way around and people start to like me the way I am.

With my shaven and sometimes bald head I feel free!! And what's more: it gives me the feeling of great pride. I'm proud of myself that I discovered this new and highly erotic sensations of shaving my head. And it also gives me power over my partner, I can make him beg me to let him shave my head..... And when I let him do so, it always makes us so horny that we explode in each others arms afterwards (no details necessary?!!!). But when he makes me angry he knows I will shave my head myself and that he will be left in the cold.
