We have our Queen!
My name is Lana Saric and I am from Croatia, I'm shaving my head over a year now and I love it! I want to join your club.
I am born 16.12.1978, and I live in Zagreb (Croatia). I work in my mum's company.
I had long hair for most of my life, but then I started thinking about cutting,
I really got borred with my hair because it just need to much time to wash it,
to dry it, I had to go to stylist often and not to mention bad hair days. I
was thinking how it would be nice without so much hair, I was jealous to all
that girls with short hair, even to my mum who had short hair for many years,
but for last few years she kept it very short. Then one evening me and mum were
sitting on sofa and talking about everything, and than she mentioned that she
needs to go to her stylist soon and that she need some change because she got
bored with her hairstyle, and I tought that she will prbuably just change her
colour and cut it a little (her hair was about 2 cm long), then I said that
I can't stand my hair anymore and that I need to cut it, mum said that a change
would be good for me too, I said that I would like very short hair but I was
to scared to cut it, and I thought it won't suit me even mum told me that I
would look very nice. I just told her to make appoint for me too.
Mum made appointment for both of us, and on that day mum had a important meeting
and couldn't go and she said to me that I make appointment for her tommorow, so I went
alone.
When I came on order I said to stylist that I want to cut it shorter but not
too short , and she did, my hair was cut short, she cut about 30 cm of my hair,
and left me about 15 cm (it is the picture that I am sending with this E-mail),
I was very happy, I couldn't wait to show my mum, and when my mum saw me she
was very happy too and she liked it very much. Tomorow also my associates on
the work said that it is great, I went with my mum on lunch and she said that
she will go to her stylist after work and that I wait her at home so we can
go on dinner out together. When she came I couldn't believe, she cut her hair
to 6 mm all over, and she was just beautiful, she realy looked great. How the
days where passing I couldn't stop thinking on shorter haircut for me, and than
one day I saw one tottaly bald girl, and after few days I saw another one, and
I just couldn't forget them I was so spellbound with their look. I decidet that
next time I will cut my hair much shorter. When that day came I went to my stylist
and she asked me how do I want it, and I said that I don't know, and that I
am not sure, we were joking about something and I said in joke that it would
be best if I shave my hair, we started laughing and she started to cut me shorter,
but then she mentioned why I really don't shave, I said that it is like a dream
for me but that I am not sure and that I am too scared, she just said: ok, how
you wish. After few minutes of thinking while she was cutting my hair to a shorter
style I just told to her: you know what, to hell with all, shave me!!! And she
did it, she shaved me all the way with clippers(this picture is second), I couldn't
believe what I just did. When I came at home mum wasn't there she was somewhere out, and I
couldn't stop looking myself on a mirror, I was so happy and proud to myself it really was
fulfillment of my dreams. When mum came in she couldn't said a word, and she just came
near me and gave me a big hug, and kissed me on my shaved head, we spend lot of time that
evening taking about my new look.
Two days after we were again talking on sofa, and she asked me will I keep my
head shaved or I will grow it again, I said that I will keep it for now, she
said that it is nice, and tomorow she said that she have something for me, and
she bought me a clippers so I don't have to go to my stylist often, and that
I can cut her hair too. She was shaving my hair every two or three days, and
after few weeks, one saturday she was shaving my hair because I had to go out
with my friends, and there was some party. When she was finished I went to bathroom to
take shover, and while I was shaving my body I said to my self why shouldn't I try
shaving my head with razor too, and so I did.
It was great it looked even better than while I was using clippers
only, and so I carried with shaving.
I somethimes grow it for week or two but then I shave it agan(third picture).
Since I have shaved lot's of things have changed for me, now I fell free, and
what's most important I am very very happy, it is like realization of all dreams
for me. I never regret it, and I am happy I did it.
